Do you like telling your friends about new products that you recently tried out? What if you could get those products for free?
BzzAgent lets “agents” sign up for campaigns to receive new products (for free!) like the Cuisinart Speed Stick, a SodaStream machine, or even the new line of Burt’s Bees Sensitive Skin Solutions including a cleaner and moisturizer. BzzAgent does not pay agents but does offer freebies and coupons in exchange for your time and honesty.
Each agent is offered the opportunity to sign up for various campaigns based on location, age, surveys, honeycomb status, and influence. Your influence grows with the number of BzzReports that you provide to BzzAgent. It is completely free to join BzzAgent and you are not obligated to participate in all campaigns that are offered to you.
Once you have received your BzzKit your mission begins. Many of my BuzzKits included a Bzz guide, coupons, samples, as well as a full sized product.
You can share your “buzz” with anyone you would like to. Your “buzz” can be positive or negative about the campaign. However you must matain the word of mouth must.
Word of mouth needs to be honest, open and sincere — it just doesn’t work otherwise. So every time you share about a product, online or off, be sure you:
- Let people know you’re a BzzAgent and received samples or coupons
- Give them your honest, hype-free opinion
- Follow the BzzAgent Code of Conduct
- Include the hash tag #imabzzagent (if spreading Bzz on Twitter)
Each campaign that you participate in helps you earn honeycombs towards future campaigns. The higher your honeycombs status, the earlier you get campaign invitations.
After sharing with friends and family, you report your “buzz” to the Hive. Each campaigns has various actions that you can participate in including: Twitter, Facebook, a personal blog or a face to face conversation. Once your report is submitted, you can earn MyPoints credits for your effort.
After the campaign is completed, you will be asked to participate in an after-campaign survey. Completing these will earn you honeycombs and more MyPoints credits.
Since 2009, I have participated in 29 campaigns. I have recently participated in Maybelline Baby Lips and Lots of Lashes, Seth Godin’s Domino Project, and Chili’s Big Mouth Burger.
